INSIGHT

The students are not motivated enough to take the extra step to recycle and end up throwing used plastics into the trash.

SOLUTION

Turn commonly used plastic into a valuable asset.

RESEARCH

100%

Of students have said that they have observed water bottles being the most commonly used plastic on campus.

95%

Of those students have said themselves have thrown a water bottle in the trash for convenience's sake.

73%

Of the campus body said they would recycle more if recycling cans were abundant and easily recognizable.

ASK

Brita gave us a challenge, how do we create a cleaner college campus?

HOW PEOPLE SEE USED WATER BOTTLES

WHAT IF WE MADE PEOPLE THINK DIFFERENTLY?

THIS IS RECLAIM

RECYCLING MOTIVATED

Designed to be highly recognizable, these newly designed cans can be located throughout campus for students and faculty to easily dispose of their water bottles.

REWARDED AND IT FEELS SOO GOOD

When a campus hits its goal in points, Brita will give back in the form of a reward that benefits everyone on campus.

BOTTLES ARE BEAUTIFUL To change the common misconception of “water bottles are waste,” a traveling art gallery will make stops on campuses across the nation. All the art and sculptures are made out of 100% recycled water bottles.
